The Christmas Market will open this year on 22 November and you can visit it until 23 December. The Christmas tree will be lit up on Republic Square and the surrounding area will be enveloped in the ever-present scent of mulled wine and cinnamon. Don’t miss the demonstrations of folk traditions and crafts with a focus on Christmas and the Christmas theme. Children are sure to enjoy seeing the small donkey and sheep, held in the live Bethlehem scene or the bell you can ring to make your Christmas wish come true. Wander around the markets and visit St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral. Your secret dreams will also be fulfilled by the angel on the cathedral grille. Just touch it. The Advent Market is held daily from 10am to 8pm.
